CM inaugurates IOCL’s Product Application & Development Centre at Paradip

Odisha Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik and Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan today inaugurated the Product Application and Development Centre of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) at Paradip through video conferencing.

The Product Application and Development Centre (PADC) has been set up at a cost of Rs 43 crore by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) at Paradip. This PADC is likely to facilitate and support the development of polymer industry in Odisha and the entire eastern region.

The project has spread across 5 acres of land near IOCL’s refinery and pharmaceutical complex. The PADC is the sixth of its kind in the country and second such project in the eastern region.

The technical centre, the sixth of its kind in the country and second such technical establishment in the east, is a recognised laboratory of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
