The Department of Steel & Mines, Government of Odisha has floated tenders for mining lease for iron ore, iron ore and manganese, iron ore and dolomite and bauxite.
The Department has identified 11 mineral blocks for e-auction are as follows;
- 7 mineral blocks of Iron ore
- 2 mineral blocks of Iron ore and Manganese
- 1 mineral block of Iron ore and Dolomite
- 1 mineral block of Bauxite
The seven iron ore blocks offered for e-auction are– Nadidih (Bico), Purheibahal, Chandiposhi, Jumka Pathriposhi, Dholtapahar, Netrabandha Pahar (West) and Gandhalpada.
Similarly, two iron ore and manganese blocks put under the hammer are — Nadidih (Feegrade) and Teherai. Also, Kasia mineral block having both iron ore and dolomite is put for the e-auction.
The last date for purchase of tender is 19 August 2021, while the last date of submission of bid is 24 August 2021.
