CM Naveen Patnaik launched various developmental projects in Padampur constituency in Bargarh district during his visit on 19 February 2023.
CM has launched various projects in Jharbandh, Paikmal and Padampur blocks and assured to sanction district status to Padampur by next year. In the Jharbandh block, the CM launched 341 projects to the tune of Rs 99.10 crore. The projects are mostly in the lift irrigation, market complex building and setting up new Model Schools in the block. In the Paikmal block, as many as 668 projects worth Rs 37.28 crore in the lift irrigation, construction of new Bus Stand and Mission Shakti Bhawan. In the Padampur block the CM launched 818 projects with an investment of Rs 35.49 crore in the lift irrigation projects, building of Village Haat, and construction of Bus stand etc.
Meanwhile the CM also sanctioned Rs 1.23 crore loans to the SHG groups and Rs 64 crore for the improvement of livelihood for each Panchayat, NAC, and block of the constituency.
